There is a famous song… ‘Tie a yellow ribbon round an old oak tree.’  This vintage bow brooch reminded me of it even though it’s not yellow it’s a lovely golden matte colour – it’s a nice song by Tony Orlando to associate it with.

It’s weird the way things pop into your head isn’t it?

Many years ago I used have guitar lessons and this was one of the songs I was taught.  I don’t know one end of a guitar from the other now, forgotten it all but the song brings good memories.
